Inside Atlanta's Showcase Circuit: Where Artists Actually Get Seen

A working map of the rooms, hosts and monthly events where emerging Atlanta artists are building real audiences — and a spotlight on the studio anchoring CHI Entertainment Network's coverage: Square Globe Studios.

The Rooms That Matter

Atlanta artists do not get discovered by algorithms alone — they get discovered in rooms. The city's showcase circuit is a network of monthly events where independent artists perform in front of live audiences, meet the people who book shows, and walk away with footage they can use long after the night ends.

A showcase is more than a slot on a setlist. It is the cheapest marketing an emerging artist can buy: a real crowd, professional photos and video, and a room that includes hosts, producers and other artists building alongside you.

Spotlight: Square Globe Studios

Square Globe Studios is CHI Entertainment Network's flagship coverage partnership — the studio where CHI goes to discover Atlanta's next generation of music. It pairs a professional live room and recording space with a stage built for live showcases, so the same room that holds a session can hold a crowd.

Every Square Globe showcase becomes a full content cycle for the artists who perform. CHI captures event photos, artist interviews, performance clips and The CHI 5, and builds each performer an artist profile across the CHI network — so the night keeps working for you after the lights go down.

What Square Globe Offers Artists

Performance slots at Square Globe showcases are open to emerging artists across genres. Here is what a slot includes:

  • A live performance slot in front of a real Atlanta audience
  • A professional live room and recording space at the studio
  • Event photos and performance video from the night
  • An artist interview and The CHI 5 session with CHI
  • An artist profile featured across CHI Entertainment Network
  • Hosted by ThatLadyChi, with eight slots per showcase

How to Get in the Room

Showcase dates are announced on the CHI Events page, and artist slots open through the CHI Opportunities board before each deadline. Independent and unsigned artists 18 and over with original material can apply.

The surest way to stay in the loop is to join CHI's artist database — you will hear about showcase dates, artist slots and CHI 5 sessions as they open.
